British Museum
At The British Museum, we explored different Anglo- Saxon artefacts. We had the opportunity to see The Sutton Hoo helmet from the burial ship. We also saw different types of spears and shields. We looked at jewellery which was mainly worn by wealthy men and women, and compared them to our own that we have created in class.

Into university
Years 3 & 4 took part in an Into University workshop this week. We learnt about different careers including a museum curator and foley artist. We looked at a range of different artefacts and decided what exhibitions they would fit into in a museum and then we used a range of everyday objects to make different sound effects for movies.

Ancient China day
Olive Class enjoyed a wonderful China Day, filled with hands‑on learning and cultural exploration. The children took part in a range of creative activities, including practising traditional Chinese calligraphy and making paper lanterns. A highlight of the day was tasting a variety of Chinese foods, which the pupils were excited to try. The children loved exploring new flavours as part of their cultural experience.
