Children's Literature Festival

Year 6 had a fantastic trip to see Sharna Jackson on Monday 15th June, where we got to try and solve her mysteries and she explained the process when writing a book.

We then met her and she signed some of our posters!

Bikeability

Year 6 enjoyed an exciting and active Bikeability Week, building confidence and essential cycling skills. Throughout the week, pupils practised road safety, learnt how to ride responsibly, and developed their independence on two wheels. Well done to all our cyclists for their enthusiasm and excellent progress.

Online Safety

Last week we had a visit from a Cyber safety expert from the Police. She reminded the chil-dren about staying safe online and the laws surrounding online behaviour. They were also reminded about sharing information online and what constitutes a crime.

Leading Spirituality worship

Some year 6 pupils led a fantastic collective worship on the topic of Spirituality and how we can all connect with ourselves. It was very inspiring!

Science week

Year 6 investigated electrical circuits and symbols and worked very hard to identify which materials were best conductors.

World War 2 posters

Year 6 have worked collaboratively to make posters showing all they have learnt from WW2. They were given a checklist of the information they needed to cover that we have learnt over the last 5 weeks and worked in groups to show off their creativity and all the facts.
