Mental Health Week

This week was Mental Health Awareness Week.  The theme for this years campaign is 'Movement': Moving more for our mental health.  

One of the most important things we can do to help protect our mental health is regular movement.  Moving more can increase our energy, reduce stress and anxiety, and boost our self esteem. 

Children had a special assembly where they learnt what is mental health, how you can look after your mental health, and some examples. They also practiced some breathing techniques!

On Friday we had a Coffee Morning full of movement. Our PE coach, Mr Emmanuel, led some movement activities that encourage good mental health.
