School Wildlife Garden

This year we've been working hard in our salad bed in the food garden, and today the garden ambassa-dors harvested our potatoes, lettuce, beetroot, carrots, fennel and rocket. We made a healthy, organic, homegrown salad to enjoy together at the end of the day, to celebrate our hard work in the food garden this year.

In the wildlife garden, we opened two bird boxes where we had seen blue tits nesting in the spring to observe the intricate nests that the birds had made in-side. We've filled our six bird feeders to the brim so there's plenty for them to eat during the summer break!
