RE Week
We explored Palm Sunday and learned how Jesus Christ is a different kind of king—one who shows kindness, peace, and humility. We created crowns decorated with images that represent Jesus and the story of Palm Sunday.
Vauxhall city farm
Our Year 1 children had a wonderful time visiting the farm as part of their “Land to Lunchbox” topic! They loved meeting the animals, exploring, and learning about where our food comes from. The children asked fantastic questions and were very excited to see the animals up close. It was a brilliant day full of discovery, smiles and muddy boots, helping us understand how food travels from the farm to our lunchboxes!
Science museum
Year 1 had a wonderful trip to the Science Museum. We visited the Space Exhibition and saw rockets, planets and amazing pictures of space. We also watched an IMAX movie called A Beautiful World. It was extra exciting because it was in 3D, and it felt like we were really there! Everyone had a lovely time learning new things and being curious about our world.
SKY GARDEN
Year 1 had an exciting trip to the Sky Garden last week. From the top, we could see the whole London skyline and spot famous landmarks like the Shard and the Gherkin. The children sketched what they saw for our art topic and thought about what makes our city special.
